Make a magic ring leaving a long tail.
Round 1: 5 sc in magic ring. Join to first sc with sl st. Do not turn.
Round 2: Hdc in sc, ch 2. Repeat 5 times. Five hdc and five ch 2 spaces made. Join to first hdc with sl st. TURN.
Round 3: In chain 2 space, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 2 dc, 2 tr, 2 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc. Sl st in hdc from previous row. Repeat 5 times. Five petals made. Do not turn.
Round 4: Sl st in each stitch. Fasten off.
Sew button in center using the long tail and continue using same tail to attach flower. Weave in ends.
